In addition to conventional higher education offers at Bremen’s universities, there is the “Kiron Higher Education for Refugees” start-up. Kiron is based on a blended learning concept, i.e: it combines both online and offline learning programmes.
Firstly, you can register online and start studying. You do not need any language certificates. Your motivation to study is crucial. You can later obtain your degree on the campus of one of the partner universities.
Kiron takes advantage of the free availability of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and runs four different study courses:
- IT
- Engineering
- Business Studies
- Social Sciences
