The Malteser run initial orientation courses on behalf of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. These initial orientation courses will support you in the initial period after arriving in Germany. You will learn about Germany in these courses and also improve your German language skills.
You can attend in these courses if you have applied for asylum (unclear prospects of remaining in the country permanently), if you are currently unable to attend integration courses and if you come from an unsafe country of origin. If there are enough free spaces, you can take place on the course while you are waiting for a space on an integration course to become available.
The course is free of charge and you can start it at any time.
