The “Mädchen Kulturhaus” (girls culture house) is a project of the alternative youth association BDP (German Girl Scouts Association).
A varied programme of activities are on offer, including coursework and group work, an open cafe, project and holiday activities.
Girls and women from seven to 27 years old have the chance to make use of these different opportunities (music, dance, theatre, film and photography, cookery, excursions, kickboxing, self-defence, creative activities etc.)
There is also free help with homework (especially for immigrant girls).
On top of this there is the Open Hangout, where girls can use the internet cafe and other offerings, meet with friends and contribute their ideas.
